About Toto
Toto was founded in 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro, David Paich (who at the time were also famous studio musicians with Boz Scaggs) and singer/bassist Bobby Kimball. Taking their name from the Latin word that means "all all-encompassing," the group was intent on exploring all styles of music.
Toto's third release, Turn Back, was a failure in 1981. However they made amends with their fourth release, Isolation, which contained two hit songs, including the title song and Roseanna. The album and tour made them a household brand around the world.
After a gap of few years, Toto return with the album Fahrenheit in the year 1986. The album is different from the ballads on previous albums, and also features some heavy rock. It was their first platinum album in North America.

However, Toto reunited in 2010 to perform a benefit show for the ALS Foundation. This was the first time that all of the original Toto members were performing together for over 31 years. In addition to the original members keyboardist Greg Tambu filled in for Paich and bassist David Hungate filled in for Shem Von Schroeck.
